Environmental Remediation Services

Hi friends. I am an engineering student. I have earlier done
research and made report on environmental hazardous waste services. Now I have
to make a report on environmental remediation. My exams are round the corner.
So I don’t have much time to do a thorough research. Can somebody please brief
me on this? I would be grateful.

Look at the Global Coral Reef Alliance postings on Biorock. Dr. Goreau spent some time with us here in the BVI and he has some great sucess stories.
Wide Ranging Subject
There are many aspects of environmental remediation, so it would be tough to know where to start. Since you're here at REEF, one effort along those lines you can start with is the Wellwood Restoration Project. A ship grounded on Molasses Reef off Key Largo and destroyed a section of the reef. The company paid fines and part of that money went to adding artificial reef modules to help restore what was destroyed. REEF conducted a 5-year monitoring effort to see just how well the fish life recovered - REEF also looked at two adjacent reefs during that time as a comparison. The Wellwood reports are on this site. That information could provide you with one small way to approach the overall issue.
